I’m sure you’ve seen it before… in the wedding industry it happens all the time. A photographer works with a florist, a gown maker, a venue and a hairdresser so that everyone involved has the opportunity to have beautiful photos to help market their business and the chance to get in front of a new and interested audience. It really is a brilliant and fun marketing method.
I want to transfer this idea to you, the maker & the entrepreneur.
Romance & Whimsy & Femininity
I want you to imagine flowy hair and fabrics, a gentle breeze blowing, romantic scenes involving flowers and bursts of sunshine. Graceful poses. It’ll be what Pinterest dreams are made of.
I’m looking for four clients to come together with these themes in mind. It’s my intention to bring together complementary businesses that will create a strong front to so we can create stunning images that will serve you for years to come.
Unique opportunities like this can often be the big leaps our work needs. I want to support and elevate you through my love for photography and business.
Client question. Will this shoot align with my current branding?
A: The photoshoot theme is romantic & feminine. I’m picking brands & businesses that most closely identify to these key words. So, if that’s how you want to showcase your brand then that’s how it will be photographed.
These photos aren’t meant to replace the branding sessions where you have really thought out your identity and crafted a plan with your photographer.
It’s more of how you would think of an editorial spread in a magazine. You might see Levi’s jeans with an Hermes scarf. The look makes sense even though the brands are quite different, it might stray from the branding but with luck, the customer can feel how special it is and become curious about each individual item.
The value in our collective approach is the broader audience reach and compelling photography.

If you make or sell beautiful things then I imagine your need for photos to be an insatiable one. I want to take the most frustrating element of your work and give you something to get excited about.
Who’s this for?
The four participating clients will come from a combination of complementary specialties.
Q: If I make jewelry will there be another jewelry business onboard?
A: Not likely
Q: If I sell clothes will another retailer or designer be on board?
A: Possibly, but only if it feels non-compete and complementary, for example; a dress maker and coat maker could make a great combo on set.
What are the specialties?
I’m interested in bringing on board at least four of the following specialties.
Jewelry • Accessories • Bags • Shoes • Wardrobe • Makeup • Hair • (open to ideas too)
Priority will be given to those that best fit the creative scope of this project and commit with a deposit.

Date
Friday, June 4 subject to change.
Location
Kimberely BC Area - multiple locations. Exact creative will be fine tuned in accordance with the participants. Clients are welcome to be in attendance during the shoot. We will be adhering to recommended covid protocol.
Styling
10 looks will be planned in advance for the day and our goal will be to do a minimum of 6. Time dependent. Consult from a professional stylist will be determined based on participant wares.
Model
Keirah H | Photographed here in the cowgirl hat. Her measurements and details will be shared with confirmed participants.
Final Gallery
Everyone will receive the same collection of 500 or more photos in an online gallery. In each of our set ups, where I can, I will photograph each ware individually to highlight the offering and do numerous combos of 2, 3, and all of your work together for a full look.
Posting & Sharing
Clients will be provided with a set of guidelines for sharing & tagging one another when sharing on social media. I will provide contracts to those involved. Contracts will be signed so that all participants will post/mention the collective in their social media feeds within a pre-determined time frame.
Investment
$450+GST for each participant.
$100 non-refundable deposit required to hold your spot.
